Who We Are & Scope
Behtafood ('Company', 'we', 'us') operates a technology-enabled logistics ecosystem in Nigeria. This protocol governs the Behtafood Rider App—the digital interface used by independent delivery partners and fleet managers. By engaging with the platform, you acknowledge the processing of data as outlined in this framework.
Collection Taxonomy
We collect data through three primary channels: Direct Input (Registration & Banking), Automated Telemetry (GPS & Device Metadata), and Transactional Generation (Order status & Earnings records). Every data point is essential for the execution of the delivery contract.
Location & Precision Tracking
To ensure marketplace trust, the app utilizes ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION. High-precision tracking is strictly bounded: it is active only when a delivery is assigned and the app is in focus. Background tracking is disabled when you are offline to respect your digital boundary.
Third-party Data Flow
Data is shared only with functional partners: Paystack for financial settlement, Restaurant Partners for order coordination, and Customers for real-time delivery transparency. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against the commercial sale of rider data.
Data Lifecycle Management
Account data is retained for the duration of service plus 12 months. Financial records are archived for 5 years per statutory audit requirements. Real-time location telemetry is purged every 90 days. All data is secured via AES-256 encryption and TLS 1.3 protocols.
Your Rights under NDPA 2023
You retain the Right to Access, Rectification, and Erasure ('Right to be Forgotten'). You may initiate account deletion via the Profile interface. Behtafood commits to responding to all data portability or restriction requests within 30 statutory days.
